Into the property called La Vádima del Medio, which is 42 kilometres far from Salamanca, 47 kilometres from Zamora and 7 kilometres from Ledesma, this Rural Lodging is located. In the past, it was the old Casa Grande de La Vádima (large house). You will discover the peace of Campo Charro (small village of Salamanca) in the comfort and warm modern rural style of this large house which is full of history. It has been carefully maintained for your enjoyment and rest.
This is a typical large house of the meadows of Castile of the 18th century which is located in the spot called La Vádima, district of Ledesma (Salamanca). It was an old convent of the Dominican Nuns (its first references are from the year 1.274). It was built on a levelled ground, facing southwest, and has some wonderful views to the meadows and holm oaks.
In the last restoration, the original floor and layout have been kept in the same way. The same thing happens with four lounges, one of them over 250 years old, with fireplace.. Nine rooms have been furnished with ancient furniture. There are two single rooms, five double ones and one suite with an adjoining bedroom for children.. All of them have individual bathroom, heating, telephone and television set.

La casa es una maravilla, los muebles son auténticas joyas, y las habitaciones grandes y acogedoras, la nuestra era una suite en la planta superior con un despacho anejo repleto de libros de derecho antiguos. No es la casa mas barata en la que he estado pero a esta volvería. La comida era muy buena, y el servicio muy familiar. Lo peor, la lluvia. :-)

Aunque es una Posada Real, uno se siente como en casa: trato cariñoso y cercano, disposición 100% hacia nosotros, desayunos y comidas de calidad y casera, lo que se agradece entre tanto catering que en otros sitios ofrecen. Te sientes como un auténtico Rey!
Puede que haya sitios más económicos, o que por un par de euros más se pueda acceder a un Parador, pero la hospitalidad, el cariño ofrecido por Amali (la encargada), el lugar, que ofrece el descanso y la tranquilidad que buscábamos... es s

He estado varias veces en LA Vádima, y aparte del entorno, que me encanta por estar en plena naturaleza, la atención personal es ejemplar, Amalia esta siempre en su sitio, discreta y complaciendonos en todo. La comida es casera y no cansa nunca. Se está siempre sencillamente cómodo.

El desayuno cuesta 9€+ IVA y no está incluido en el precio de la habitación. Te ponen pan con algunos bollos del tipo dulcesol bastante tiesos.. A los quesitos le quitan la etiqueta para que no se vea la marca igual que al agua, unos termos con el café, y un zumo de bote. La mermelada de melocotón Helios en paquetitos y si no te gusta dicen que no traen de otra porque les caduca.
