Cases Noves is a village house that is over 75 years old, and the
renovations that have been made have conserved the charms of a house typical
of the area.
The house is situated in the heart of the village, with marvelous views of
Guadalest, the mountain ranges of Xortá,Serrella and Aitana, and the
sweeping green valleys down to the blue Mediterranean sea.
The intention of the owners is to offer a personal service, that will allow
you relax and enjoy everything that this wonderful region has to offer.
Activities
Walking
Mountain biking (with planned routes, and guides available).
Visits to the most picturesque parts of the Valley of Guadalest (waterfalls, castle ruins, etc).
At different times of the year there are various other activities available (mushroom picking, wine tasting, olive gathering and wild flower collecting).
Interesting Places
The house is perfectly situated to visit the whole of the peaceful Valley
of Guadalest, as well as the Algar Waterfalls, and yet is only 20 kilometers
from Benidorm, and its white sandy beaches, theme parks (Terra Mitica, Terra
Natura, Mundomar & Aqualandia) golf courses etc.
Guadalest can be found on the CV-755, only 20 kms from Benddorm and 35kms from Alcoy.
From Madrid/Alicante:
The route is very straightforward. Follow the A-3 to Alicante, where you join the A-7 Autopista following the signs to Benidorm and Valencia. There are two Benidorm exits from the motorway (signposted Terra Mitica and Benidorm Levante).. Take either of the two exits, and once you have passed the toll booth follow the signs for the CV-70 , Callosa de Ensarriá/ La Nucia/Polop.. You do not have to enter Benidorm at all, and are now heading towards the mountains away from the sea. The CV-70 has recently been renovated, and is dual carriageway as far as La Nucia.. There are a lot of roundabouts on this road, but you carry straight on over all of them, until you reach the outskirts of La Nucia (approx 8 kms from the toll booth).. On the roundabout before you reach La Nucia, you will see a signpost which directs you left to Guadalest. You will then join the mountain road(newly opened) for the 12km climb to Guadalest. Just before you arrive in Guadalest ther is another roundabout, which signposts Benimantell to the right and Guadalest straight on. Carry straight on and you will find the house approximately 500 mts further on, on the right hand side.
From Valencia:
Again the route is very straightforward. Follow the A-7 Autopista, following the signs to Alicante, and take the Benidorm exit. We do not recommend that you take the Altea exit, and then the CV-755, because the road is not very good, with lots of sharp bends and curves. It is much more straightforward to leave the autopista at the Benidorm exit and then follow the directions given above.
From Alcoy:
We only recommend this route for people who are already in the area, as the CV - 70 from Alcoy to Guadalest follows the mountain route with its corresponding bends and curves,. This road passes through the villages of Benilloba, Benasau, Confrides (where you enter the valley of Guadalest), Benifato, Beniarda and Benimantell before reaching Guadalest.

We stayed in August 2008, arriving on my husbands birthday and ate the magnificent tapas specialities cooked by sofia. We had a lovely stay with Sofia and Toni, the accommodation, hospitality, food and views were second to none. We can't wait to return someday to enjoy it all again. Well done Sofia and Toni for creating such a wonderful place to stay.
During June 2008 my wife and I had the most tremendous stay at Cases Noves. The rooms were fantastic, the food superb and our hosts(Toni and Sophie) absolutely delightful.. We were treated like old friends, although we had only arrived that day.
As a visitor attraction Guadalest is well known, but when you add the welcome, service and attention to detail at Cases Noves it takes it to another level.
We have been so impressed, and my Wife and I stay in Hotels all over Europe with our work we are

A beautiful setting for this charming small hotel. The building has been very tastefully renovated and breakfast on the lovely patio is memorable. The hosts Toni and Sopia could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

For our little Spain holiday we decided to stay in Cases Noves for 8 nights. It was the best thing we could do. Cases Noves was a great base location for day trips with a car (80Eur/wk), cycling or hiking.
Like an eagles nest the village is located between 1500m high mountains with dramatic stone formations and there are always the views to the sea.
During the day the village is buzzing with day-visitors but when we returned in the evening to relax, it was very nice and quite.

We originally booked for a 2 night stay at Cases Noves but enjoyed being there so much that we returned the following week for a further 4 nights. We were told that it was our home for the duration of our stay but it was more than that because Sophia and Toni looked after us so well and gave us an insight into their area with superb local food and information. It was an excellent base for walking, biking and climbing.
