A new construction, situated at 1570 m. above sea level and 150 metres from Guadalaviar, surrounded by pine trees and several springs where you will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of a small cattle farming village, which is mostly transhumance. Also, from the beginning of September to the first winter frosts, you will be able to collect a wide variety of mushrooms that can be found throughout this mountain range.
The house has five double rooms, two en-suite on the ground floor and the other three with two shared bathrooms on the first floor, all with central heating, television room, video and board games. The house has a large terrace and big garden with wonderful views, a fenced car park and a place to leave your bicycles.

Interesting Places
Given the excellent location of the village, at the centre of the provinces of Teruel, Cuenca and Guadalajara, in the heart of the Albarracín Mountains, next to the Sources of the Guadalaviar, Tajo and Cabriel, 33 km. from the emblematic town of Albarracín, the most important town in the region, and close to the Cuenca Mountain Range and the source of the River Cuervo, it is the ideal place to carry out all kinds of excursions.
A special place to visit in the village is the Transhumance Museum, built in three main parts: a look at the history of grazing land, an ethnological view of the life of the shepherds and a section on transhumance and the ecology.
Close to the village (1,5 km.), on the slopes of the Muela de San Juan, we find the source of the River Guadalaviar, which from Teruel onwards is called the River Turia.
Barcelona: 500 km. (along the A7 motorway and Castellón)
Teruel: 68,5 km.
Cuenca: 72 km.
Once you get to the Albarracín Region:
If you come along the CM 2105 (Cuenca), you have to cross the El Cubillo mountain pass (the border between Cuenca and Teruel), and then you come to a small mountain pass called El Portillo, and after descending this peak the first village you come to is Guadalaviar. You then go around the village, following the road until you get to the other end of the village, where you will find Casa María, the last house in the village on the right.
If you come along the N-234 (towards Zaragoza), along the regional road A-1511 (towards Santa Eulalia), you carry on through Pozondón - Bronchales - Griegos - Guadalaviar. Here, the first house you find on the left is Casa María.
If you come along the N-234 (towards Teruel), along the regional road A-1512 (towards Albarracín), you must carry on through Albarracín - Torres de Albarracín - Tramacastilla - Villar del Cobo - Guadalaviar. Here, the first house you find on the left is Casa María.
