The rural house Graña da Acea in the Fragas do Eume Nature Reserve, with a large area of fields, mountains and rivers, is situated in an evergreen valley, protected by a kind of microclimate, quite isolated, but only a few minutes from the coast and the historical towns and villages of Betanzos, Pontedeume, Coruña, Santiago and Lugo. This old 17th century farmhouse is the ideal place for travelling around comfortably, visiting and discovering the whole of Galicia.
The adjoining buildings, together with the main house, make up a unique architectural rural Galician set of accommodations which date back to the 17th century and were totally and carefully restored in 2004, including all the furniture and the belongings of this hundred year-old family and which now decorate the house in full harmony with the light and comfort of the rest of the interior decorating.
It includes nine double rooms, lounges, a large dining room, library... all with a common denominator: light and space. It stands out for its warm, relaxing and surprisingly friendly decoration, which blends in with the peace and quiet of its exclusive surroundings.

I stayed in this very nice accomodation from 09-03-2008 until 15-03-2008. It was my first time in Galicia but certainly not the last one.
Top Quality !,

Recommended bij a belgian newspaper, we had the opportunity to stay in Galicië during 10 days in this Casa. For more than 25 years, we spent our holidays in Rural houses everywere in Europe. The five stars we give Casa Grana are more than deserved! The reconstruction of the house is done in a magnificent way in all of its details.. Hostess Marita takes so much care for her habitants that you feel at home immediately. The meals she prepares are various and very tastefull!
