Each house includes two double rooms, two WCs, a bathroom, lounge-dining room with a fireplace and sofa bed, kitchen and wine cellar. Recently renovated.

The house is situated in the centre of the village, just 20 minutes from La Pinilla and Navacerrada.

Los Portales are three rural houses which were totally renovated in 2006, using the original stonework. All the accommodations include 2 double rooms, bathroom and 2 WCs, a complete kitchen with a microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and kitchen utensils, a lounge-dining room with a sofa bed and fireplace in one and a barbecue in the other.

In the village of Garganta de los Montes, you can visit the 15th century church, the blacksmith´s, which is a typical construction of the area and once used to shoe horses, noteworthy for the way it has been preserved. Also, the monolith to Peace, which was erected by a Japanese delegation as being an exemplary village for Peace and Solidarity; the village Chapel (which is reached by going through some beautiful mountain scenery, but which is very near the village); the Matafrailes; the village dam, which is close to the Chapel.... You can also discover the aerobic circuit which runs above the village and takes you to discover some incredible scenery in the heart of nature. Finally, for all those keen on hiking and mountain bikes you can follow the Cañada Real Segoviana, an ancient livestock footpath, that goes through the village and is in perfect condition given that every year it is used by transhumance farming. The village also has a municipal swimming pool.

In the surrounding area of Garganta, you can visit the medieval bridges of Canencia, Paular Monastery, go horse riding in Buitrago, see the medieval walls and even its real life nativity scene if you come in the winter. Why not wander around the Lozoya reservoir, take a trip to Navacerrada to step on the snow...

Mountain bikes, horse riding routes, climbing, water sports in the Atazar reservoir such as sailing or canoeing, paragliding... You can also walk along the Segovia Cañada Real (ancient livestock route) which is found nearby. Go skiing or snowboarding in the Navacerrada or La Pinilla ski resorts

And in the area around the Lozoya reservoir, we find the Paular Monastery, in Rascafria, which dates back to the 15th century, and was completed by the famous architect Juan Guas.In Buitrago de Lozoya, you can visit the whole of the medieval wall surrounding the town and which was built in the 10th century. Within these walls, you will find the main monuments, such as its Church & Castle (Fortress) built in the 14th and 15th century in a Mudejar style. Or visit the Picasso museum in the village.
