- Abuela Reme has two floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The first floor comprises a lounge, a kitchen, one double bedroom and a sizeable bathroom. The lounge has had its traditional stone fireplace restored whilst the kitchen is fully equipped with even a washing machine and a dishwasher.
- On the second floor are two twin bedrooms, a complete bathroom, and a spacious third double room that occupies half of the floor, maximizing the natural light and creating a place of restful tranquility. Besides the king-size bed, this room also contains an en-suite bathroom and another traditional stone fireplace.
- The house also has a sunny internal courtyard, an area which has been equipped with a barbecue and other necessities for passing long summer nights in the company of family and friends.

Abuela Reme is an ancient Spanish country style house which has recently been renovated in a way that retains the charming authenticity of the original stone and wood materials, whilst adding modern domestic comforts and luxuries.

The house is located in El Fresno, a tiny traditional village in the Valle Amblés, nestled against the picturesque banks of the river Adaja and with a 15th century church at its unspoilt heart. The rural population of 500 people continues to live mainly from cattle and agriculture, but still enjoy the pleasures of urban life because of the proximity of the village to the town of Avila, 5 km away.

Activities 

- Sympathetically incorporated into its traditional village identity, El Fresno has several Spanish-style bars, a bakery, epicerie, and several restaurants serving regional and national cuisine. The village also has a swimming pool and sports facility which put on a varied program of activities throughout the whole year.
- The valley can be crossed hiking or by bicycle through the numerous paths that cross it, or practice kayaking in Las  Cogotas lake.
- The Valle Amblés airfield is located just outside the village and can be visited by those interested in flying ultralights.

- Avila. City patrimony of the humanity, surrounded by its impressive walls, and with hundreds of interesting buildings to discover, is only 5 km far.
- Castros vettones of Ulaca and Las Cogotas.
- Aunqueospese´s castle.
- Sierra de Gredos.
- Valle Amblés.
- El Merino, village left at present but that in the past it enjoyed a great agricultural and cattle activity and recently been used  as scene for different movies.
