The owner´s comments

CASA MAGDALENA has been built on the site of an old Pyrenean house in Siresa (the Valley of Hecho, Huesca). It is a three floor house, getting in through the second floor.

The house consists of three double rooms, two toilets, a living room, a kitchen and a junk as well as all the facilities for a nice and comfortable stay (central heating, electrical appliances, TV etc.).

Siresa is a typical central Pyrenean village buried deep into the valley of Hecho near the impressive and privileged Monastery of San Pedro.

Its proximity to Jaca and Hecho, the valley´s trading and administrative centre, provides the tourist with a broad net of bank, health and trading services.

On the other hand, the environment and situation of Siresa are exceptional since it offers the tourist a wide number of leisure possibilities, such as mycology, trekking, skiing, climbing, fishing, canyoning, etc. as well as cultural activities thanks to its museums, romanesque monuments, megalithic remains and folklore.

Activities

- Sports: trecking, climbing, paragliding, canyoning, mountaineering and alpine skiing, fishing, hunting, indoor climbing, sports centre, pelota court.
- Natural Activities: birdwatching (vultures), herbalist´s symposium, mycology, natural photography contest.
- Cultural: Roman Monastry of San Pedro de Siresa; Ethnological Museums in Hecho, Siresa and Embún, Megalithic remains in Guarrinza and Aguas Tuertas, Contemporary Museum in Hecho; Roman roads (remains); PIR feestival; Folklore and typical speech
