We serve a cuisine of fusion, combining the traditions of the Mediterranean with the food culture of Southeast Asia, using fresh local produce and exotic ingredients from countries like Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia and China to create tasty, healthy and surprising dishes.

From Friday evening through Sunday evening, we offer a tasting menu based on the availability of ingredients and the inspiration of our chef, combining a series of apertizers and temptations, followed by a selection of desserts, creating a culinary feast for the palate. From Monday to Friday noon we compose a fixed menu every day following the same style as mentioned before, but with fewer components. We can also compose non-meat menus upon request. 
- Atmosphere of peace
Currently, we have three rooms: One large large and one medium-sized suite as well as one double room. From inside the rooms or from their private terrace, one can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Tiétar Valley and the surrounding mountains.The decoration styling projects warmth, using textiles and furniture from Southeast Asia. The rooms feature free internet access (Wi-Fi), TV and telephone.

The owner´s comments

At the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, facing south and protected by the surrounding mountains, one finds Hotel La Canela. From an altitude of 815 meters above sea level and away from built-up areas, we have a spectacular view of the beautiful Tiétar Valley, tranquil surroundings and a minimalist atmosphere.

Our primary offer is space: Ample and comfortable rooms, large panoramic windows facing nature, and most importantly, space to relax, disconnect and recharge energy.

On paths and tracks
There are many ways to explore and enjoy the nature in The Tiétar Valley and the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, between the Tiétar River and the summits of Lanchalisa (2008 meters) and La Excusa (1995 meters), on foot, mountain bike or on horseback. This area is also well-known for its excellent paragliding opportunites. We can organize all kinds of activities with or without local guides.
